  • Are you enthusiastic about languages ​​and technology and would you like to drive this progress forward?
  • Do you have experience in computational linguistics? Or are you an expert in language engineering and linguistic data?
  • For the automotive domain in language technology, we are looking for a Computational Linguist, Language Engineer, Linguist with programming/scripting skills or something similar for one of the following languages (only Native Speaker): Dutch/Flemish, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Thai, Japanese, Chinese-Cantonese, Chinese-Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Turkish, Romanian, Greek, Bulgarian, Gulf-Arabic, Italian, Spanish-Mexican, Spanish-European, Portuguese-Brazilian, Portuguese-European, English-US, English-UK, English- AUS, German, Hebrew, French-Canadian, French-European, Czech, Polish, Ukrainian/Russian

Responsibilities / Tasks

Your tasks will be:

  • Generation and collection of language data in a target language
  • Development of NLU/NLG speech models
  • Generation of speech models TTS and STT
  • Developing, Testing, qualification and reporting on the results

Skills and Profile

Qualification / General Profile

Your qualifications /requirements:

  • Your are a Native Speaker of one of the following languages: Dutch/Flemish, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Thai, Japanese, Chinese-Cantonese, Chinese-Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Turkish, Romanian, Greek, Bulgarian, Gulf-Arabic, Italian, Spanish-Mexican, Spanish-European, Portuguese-Brazilian, Portuguese-European, English-US, English-UK, English- AUS, German, Hebrew, French-Canadian, French-European, Czech, Polish, Ukrainian/Russian
  • A completed university degree in computational linguistics , general linguistics, corpus linguistics , computer science or similar
  • At least some experience with RegEx (Regular Expressions) or other programming experience is required!
  • Basic experience with command line (Linux, Mac or Windows) is required!
  • Experience with TTS or/and SST is helpful
  • Experience with version control (Git, SVN…) is preferred
  • A good knowledge of English (oral and written)
